Halloween Safety Month
October is festive and fun – especially when we are preparing for Halloween! Eye related injuries and accidents are not what most trick-or-treaters think about. However, we will cover a few mishap possibilities because October is designated “Halloween Safety Month”.
- Do not wear illegal costume contact lenses purchased without a prescription. They may not fit correctly or be sterile, causing serious eye problems.
- Make sure you have clear and complete peripheral vision when wearing costume eyewear, masks, helmuts, etc.
- Beware of any dangling, decorative objects at head-level height or any type of projectile weapons used as part of a costume.
Think safety first and have a wonderful time while looking fabulous in your eyewear from American Vision At The Court. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
